Last February, I wrote about the upcoming deployment to Afghanistan of the 142nd Military Intelligence Battalion (Linguist) of the Utah National Guard (link and link).
It's been a year. I knew up front that this was a great group of soldiers. Over the past year I've kept in touch with many of them. I've been impressed with their dedication, professionalism and intelligence. I'm proud of what they've accomplished. I'm excited to learn from their experiences.
